Information for Volunteers
Volunteers are an integral part of our school community. Your participation to support our school is greatly appreciated and valued. While the welfare of our students is our highest priority, we want to do everything possible to ensure your involvement is a rewarding experience. The following introductory information is provided to ensure that we exercise our responsibility for the safety of our students, and to strengthen our partnership with you.
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION PROCESS
All volunteers must complete a Department for Education volunteer application form as well as have a current working with children check (DHS – WWCC) and a certificate of participation for Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RHAN-eC) volunteer induction session.
Please complete the volunteer application form below and return to the school along with a copy of your working with children clearance (DHS – WWCC) and your RHAN-Ec certification of participation. All volunteers must have all the relevant checks, regardless of whether their own child/ren are part of the activity.

If you are volunteering as a parent in your own child’s class, you will not require a DHS Clearance. If you are volunteering in the canteen, resource centre, coaching sport, Governing Council etc, you will require a DHS Clearance. Please allow time for the application to be processed (at least 3 months).
